Do we really need Braille key pads on drive-up ATM machines?

I got some cash the other day from the drive-up ATM at our bank.

It occurred to me that the next time I must endure a conversation with a liberal, I should find a way to remind him or her that the government they think should get bigger and more powerful is the same one that decided it was important to require Braille key pads on drive-up ATM machines.

Oh, our Fouding Fathers would be fighting alright!

Oh, our Founding Fathers would be fighting, alright! But, perhaps not quite how Ms. Hussein-Marx would have us believe!

Don’t you find it interesting how Marxists pervert the self-evident truth that “all men are created equal” into the Marxist notion that all outcomes must be made equal by an all-powerful government? Unkle Karl Marx said it long ago: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

Yes, our Founding Fathers would be fighting, but it sure wouldn’t be to address inequalities in “income and wealth” (see 0:45 in the video) as Ms. Hussein-Marx implies. They were locked and cocked over a tea tax! They would be horrified at the notion of wealth redistribution which suggests that although you earned the dollar in your pocket, someone who didn’t earn it deserves it more than you do.

That is the philosophy of a thief. (Also sounds rather like the “Divine Right of Kings”, doesn’t it?)

Can we legitimately continue to call ourselves citizens when we allow our government to do to us that which our fellow citizens could not do to us without committing a crime?

What do you think?
